In July, Facebook won the rights to stream all 380 Premier League soccer matches each season from 2019 to 2022 in Cambodia, Laos, Thailand, and Vietnam, in a deal valued at $264 million. This loss to Facebook is disrupting cable and satellite broadcasters in all four countries as they contemplate their future in a world where video and television are being streamed OTT (Over The Top) on platforms like Amazon, Facebook and Google and they lose both advertising and subscriber revenue. Join us for a special M2 – Marketing event on the “OTT, Platforms, Videos & Television – Where’s the advertising money going?” and join us for what will be an interesting evening and discussion. We will have five speakers for this very special event, including two international speakers from the Asia Video Industry Association who will be providing us with their insight: THIS MONTH’S FEATURED SPEAKERS “ASIA-PACIFIC OVERVIEW” Louis Boswell is a senior media executive with a deep background in Asia.
