As part of the ESOMAR NEXT Career Development Initiative we would like to invite a few promising students to act as Networking Facilitators at our Asia Pacific 2012 conference (15-17 April) in Shanghai.
Nominated students will be having a short telephone conversation so that a final selection can be made. The selected students will be registered as free of charge delegates and the onsite ESOMAR Team will ensure that they are welcomed and incorporated into the event.

Future Talent Meets the Industry @ ESOMAR
Future Talent Meets the Industry is a long term initiative created to strengthen ties between the industry, universities and business schools. It has been created to improve understanding of business dynamics, evolution of the market research industry and the need for additional skills in market research. It aims to encourage academic and student participation in the market research industry while creating a pool of new talent to help build market research for the future.
ESOMAR is the world organisation for enabling better research into markets, consumers and societies. With over 5,000 members in more than 100 countries, ESOMAR’s aim is to promote the value of market and opinion research in illuminating real issues and bringing about effective decision-making.
APAC 2012 – Overview
There is an increasing interest and urgency in home-grown innovation throughout Asia. Global companies are establishing R&D centres in China while innovation on a regional level is also blossoming, as research helps companies customise products to address local needs.
Given the kaleidoscopic nature of Asia, the strength of diversity and the ever-changing perception of value, we now ask – should Asia be defined as a region or viewed as multiple “think-tank markets”.
ESOMAR Asia Pacific 2012 explores the challenges of pioneering adaptability, innovation and customising to drive growth by looking through the lenses of Asia’s kaleidoscope.
